October in LA rocks!
Had the best ride up the Crest today with JayTee & John. The weather was glorious, as was the HP2S, it is such a fine machine.

Awesome day! Met at Lcf at 10am, on the road at s conservative 7mph over all the way to newcombs. After lunch in Wrightwood, John and I continued riding the length of the San Bernardinos (lake silverwood, arrowhead, big bear, etc).
Great ride and good company! |

Yes, I'm thinking of it, I have a friend and work associate who wants to do a ride, and it looks like the coast will be socked in again, so I was thinking of running up to Newcombes and on to Wrightwood with him. We're meeting at 8.00am in H'wood, so will be at the 2/210 bridge by around say 8.30am assuming he is on time etc.

I need to fuel up the HP2S so if I can make it, I'll be fueled and ready to go at the Shell at 8:30.

I'm not sure how good/fast the guy I'm taking up is, it's my first ride out with him, and the weekend is full of LEO's, so I was planning a pretty chill pace tomorrow. |

I ride the speed limit on the crest but even that can get you a speeding ticket apparently.

Sergio, great to meet up, and glorious morning run! I love my Megamoto, it is just such an easy, awesome machine to ride, in truth it is more 'my bike' the the HP2S. I can tell the S will get 2 or three rides a year just to keep it alive, but the MM is the one I'll grab everyday. It's sad so few folks will ever get to enjoy what maybe the most fun big twin BMW has ever made, since theres only 106 in the country!
(but the S is soooo much prettier!!) |

Most definitely! Next time I'll have to grab the GS since I've never take it up there... I'll throw on the saddlebags just to hound the squids.
