R1200S Paint Advice Needed
Hey all!
I'm doing some paint damage repair on my candy cane. The side panel's red and silver color blocks are separated with black striping tape. That tape looks to be about 12 mm wide or so. I'm looking to source a roll of it. It's not listed on the BMW parts fische and I confirmed that with MAX BMW. I have located generic striping tape from the US automotive distribution, but I would rather have the same stuff that BMW used. Can anyone point me to a source, or identify who BMW's tape vendor was? TIA!

 Hi John, It's on MAX's web site and it is 10 mm wide. I checked on a brand new never mounted first time out of its factory protective bag old stock fairing and the tape (and the decal) are under the clear coat.

I confirm the tape 10mm wide and one meter long.
So if you want to do a whole bike you might want to get at least 8 of them? There are 87 left in Europe and none left in the USA.
