This one man...

found a way to unite oh so many...

And at the end of the day/ride, this is what it was all about... hanging with friends.

And no matter how I tried to explain something...

Jeff and Ralf would listen in wonder (and awe)... at whatever nonsense was spewing from my mouth.

This has impacted so many of us... cause he was the glue that united so many of us.

I feel both so sad and so mad right now, even though I didn't know him. I am sorry for your loss Ralf.

It is not just my loss... Jeff has touched the life of many.

I liked him and he had become a close friend because he was a straight talker. Totally inappropriate at times, boisterous and enthusiastic... he would not let up, if he knew you needed help and he would also not stop pestering you, if he knew it would annoy you (all in good fun).

Jeff was a good man, just plain a good man. We all have our quirks, but he knew to take them and accept them, aware that he had a full supply himself. I really don't know anyone who didn't like him and HIS quirks, of which there were many.

We were all making fun of him at times, as he willingly (and knowingly) presented himself as a target, over and over again... yet, very quick to dish out himself, if the opportunity presented itself... and if not, he just made the opportunity up himself.

Jeff will be sorely missed, not just by me. Sadly, I know what his family is feeling, all to well. I had to endure a few losses myself.

I hope that we will NEVER forget Jeff and I know that he will live on in my heard and in my mind! He is not one who is easily forgotten, and he is one who can NEVER be replaced!

So long, my dear friend...

I think this is my first TC ride. I knew right away these were the peeps for me. Here we wait for Daddy Jeff to give his pre-ride safety talk. and we all know he'd never break the rules!!!!

Ivan tells a story...shocking...which Jeff clearly doubts!

Good conversation

I don't think this needs explaining....

Visiting with friends after great riding.....

I'm so very stunned to hear this news. He was one of the best of the best on the forum. May he rest in peace.

No No No. Damnation! I only had the pleasure of conversing with him by phone but I will mourn his passing.

Been Crying for most of the day...

I remember long conversations on many topics with Jeff.
I remember him complaining, telling us suspension problems he is trying to over come.
Conversations about rides we need to organise with dictatorial directness.
Splitting lanes on the way to SD TC rides.
Poking fun at each other as well as Tuna!

and I have that superman shot of him on his Husqvarna somewhere on my computer in Aus...

...but there were times, many times, where he was helping out a friend. a lot of friends.

"Miss you", does not seem enough.

Currently I am in LA, bike-less. So Shelly please post about the memorial and I will make it up there.

Although having known Jeff only via this forum, for sure I all the more unfortunate for never having the opportunity to clink a beer with him. Condolences to his family.

I always liked this video of Steve Carlton's, at the end of the video, Jeff Is having fun doing a Chinese fire drill. Over the years he brought so many smiles to all of us in this community which is the r1100S/R1200s tech forum.

Depending on when it is, I will try as well... I can either join some of you on the way up, or meet you there.
It'll all depends on the final date.
