Weird mirror spacer?

I took the front fairing off my r1200s and found d the below pictured "spacers" between the fairing and the fairing stay. Anybody know if these are stock? I didn't find them in realoem, there are no BMW markings, and I don't recall my first 1200s having them... Thoughts?

Those spacers were provided as a part of the MV Verholen risers package for R12S. Although out of stock at BBY, you can see them in link below:
