Cost of Dressing up the S1000RR NOT Cheap

I went to Sierra BMW and lifted the cost of dressing up your S1000RR with the CF that comes standard on the HP2Sport. Better start putting in some overtime at work, dudes.

These are standard on the HP2S. Installed on the S1000RR w/ ABS and DTC the price of the bike is now over $25,000.00 USD

CF Badge Carrier Set $1,029.00
CF Chain Guard $423.95
CF Front Fender $505.00
CF Heel Guard $187.00
CF Lower Cowling $2,157.44
CF Passenger Seat Cover $655.53
CF Tank Cover Set $1,028.95
HP Riders Footrest System $764.00
HP Shift Assistant $592.59

Total $7,343.46

This dress up cost still doesn't address the upgrade of the suspension system necessary to make it comparable to the Ohlins system that comes standard on the HP2Sport.

Just coming from the bike show in Greenville SC and several CF manufacturers said they are eager to make aftermarket parts for us. Just let the bike come available first and the parts will follow. This should help bring the cost down from factory BMW parts.

I'm not interested in CF but I do hope someone makes a license plate holder alternative, and quickly because I am picking my bike up in a month.

Go to bellissimoto.com and they have one available. They are sponsors of S1000RRfourm.com. Tell them your with US Desmo and ask for the 10% discount.

love the exhaust. skip the cf. with the performance advantage the s1000rr has it doesn't need cf.

To my eyes the slip on looks a whole lot nicer than the full system , although he full system does get rid of the big silencer box under the bike

Can't get there on a air-cooled engine.

The turbo takes room and adds weight. You can maybe get there but the heat it generates will cost you in engine life. Last time I looked under the tank cover there was NO room for company.
