Hello - this is generally not something we suggest as a DIY unless you have a lot of previous experience working with speedometer/odometer replacements. From my understanding, most people use North Hollywood Speedometer for repairs. Other members will likely chime in with their expertise as well.

I'm going to change speedometer disc for the km/h. I just want to know how you remove the needle. Pulling in 0 position? or there is special technique ?

Your digital speedometer will still be in mph, as will your trip meter and odometer will still be in miles. And there's a chance you will fubar the needle or needle drive. 0 position is where you should start at, gently try to pull the needle off. After you're done, check the accuracy with gps, you can adjust it by pulling the needle back off and repositioning it.

Be gentle!

I suspect you're in Europe. If all else fails, you can probably find a used cluster on Ebay.

Note, I've never done this on a Porsche, but have done it on American cars to adjust the accuracy of the speedometer.

Thank you for your reply.
I changed digital options in menu. Now I want to change the gauge face to km/h.
I have plastic tools and new gauge face to do it but I still collect tips&tricks.
I worry about the gauge needle... how to remove and attach...

I found tutorial in the internet but I want to confirm if it works in Porsche.

Yes, I am in Europe

Garage
Try using a plastic fork to slide under the needle & pull straight up.

I think these guys make most of the replacement dials for Porsche - how about asking them for advice / instructions?

Done
It was not so difficult.
The most challenging was disconnection of the instrument cluster because there is special locking mechanism.
And I had to repositioned the gauge needle because of slight different in the speed measurement about 2-3km/h.

The gauge needle jumped without any problems even second time.

Thank you for your tips&tricks.
