2.5 swap to 3.2

Hi all!
New member here from Finland. So I'm swapping my 1998 2.5 boxster engine for 3.2 2000 engine. I got the wiring and the ecu and the security stuff and keys with the engine but I am having problems. My car does not have stability control because its older model. It only has traction control and the electronic slip diff. How do i connect the new ecu (7.2 vs 5.2) so that i can keep the traction control and the abs? Is the abs unit the same in 00 and 98? I am going to have the Boxster programmed so is there a way to program the stability control of?
Thanks!
Jesse Paavola

There are usually other inputs to a stability control system that your 97 may not have such as a steering angle sensor and a yaw rate sensor. Not sure if the Porsche system uses these but I can’t see how they would not. I’ll see if I can research it a little and get back to you. I am currently swapping a 2.7 from an 02 in for a 2.5 from 99. I had to use all of the electronics from the 99. How are you getting around the cable driven throttle body?
