02 Boxster S Double Beep Problem- Help Please

Maybe I'm not using the right search words, but I just can't find strings on this topic. In my 02 Boxster S, opening the passenger door results in its window not operating down to allow door closing. Also, the red trouble light comes on the central locking system switch indicating a problem somewhere in that system. And thereafter, the horn double beeps on door unlocking.

Apparently, there could be a problem with the door lock micro switch or with the door lock actuator. Can anyone help with information on how to determine which part is failing without actually getting inside the door?

The horn double beeps at door unlocking or locking? It is my understanding that the double beep when locking indicates that something is being reported as open.
