Blinking Red Light
Hello Team Cayman. As a longtime 911SC owner, I have used the 911 forum for years. Now I’ve got a Cayman question for the experts. My daughter has a Guards Red 2007 base Cayman into which we recently replaced the battery. Yesterday she sent me the attached which shows a blinking red light above the right hand radio knob. I’ve got some codes to clear to complete the battery replacement but this flashing red light is a new one. Can any one educate us on this or point us in the right direction? Thanks in advance and have a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday.

The blinking red light is a theft deterrent. I understand that you may be able to select it to not do that (not sure if that's in-car or only via the Porsche PIWIS). It is likely that that setting was reset when you replaced the battery.
