My Boxster is triple black--it's the first black car I've owned since my 1977 Trans-Am, after which I swore off black cars. The black is a bit more difficult to keep clean, but boy, is it a head turner when it is freshly washed and waxed!

I always say, "I'll never buy another black car." And then, when I decided to find a used Boxster, guess what color?
Okay, to keep a black car looking clean, always keep a good coat of wax on it (I actually use Zaino Bros, which isn't wax), and give it a "very light" touch with a California Duster every night.
I love black Boxsters. They actually look smaller than the lighter color 986s.

I think Ocean Blue was a pretty color, but I saw a Boxster S in a blue last week that was gorgeous.

Guards Red, with black top, and black interior.

At first I was afraid that the black interior would be too hot, but we've been having a heat wave in Michigan since I bought the car a month ago, and it hasn't been bad.

I was considering Speed Yellow (the one in the photo above looks super) but nobody in my area had an "S" in stock, so I opted for my other favorite color -- bright red.

Besides, I have a bright yellow '54 Chevy pickup truck, so I guess I have it all.

I just bought a 2001 2.7, black over savannah ... just like Des' car.

Des, where'd you get that shifter? Is it a Porsche piece or TechArt?
