From a 930 to a Boxter ?

Just sold my early 930 and looking to get into a boxter, I know its a completely different car and every 911/930 owner warns me against them.
However I just want a nice newish car to drive that doesnt give me headaches.
I'm looking a 2.5 version, naturally I will be doing a PPI, however are there any common faults I should be looking out for ?
Anything I need to keep in mind when buying one ?
Do I completely steer clear from a tiptronic or are they ok ?

Sorry for all the questions, and any advice would be really appreciated

Thx

1. Don't listen to old 911 owners. They don't like anything with a radiator. It's complete nonsense.

2. It's spelled Boxster.

3. You'll want one once you drive one. Welcome to the club.
