Cdr-210
I have a 98 Boxster with CDR-210 radio. I would like to install a CD Changer CDC-3 to this radio. Can this be done?
I have notice it does not have RCA or Unlink wiring. Anything we can do to make it work? What other options do I have? |

Try www.crutchfield.com they claim to have a harness conversion ready to go about 25 dollars.

I have a 1997 with CDR-210. I put in a changer about 7 years ago.
I used the Becker 2660 changer which is the same as the Porsche CDC-3 changer. You run a cable from the back of the radio head, into the front trunk, and then to the changer. |

I called Becker people today. The CDR-210 will operate with the CDC-3 cd changer.
I will need to order a special harness for $60. How tough was it to bring the cable into the passenger compartment? It looks like the access hole is behind the battery toward the driverside. Thanks |

It is not tough to run the CD changer cable from the back of the radio head to the changer spot in the front trunk.
