Cdr-210

I have a 98 Boxster with CDR-210 radio. I would like to install a CD Changer CDC-3 to this radio. Can this be done?

I have notice it does not have RCA or Unlink wiring. Anything we can do to make it work?

What other options do I have?

Try www.crutchfield.com they claim to have a harness conversion ready to go about 25 dollars.

I have a 1997 with CDR-210. I put in a changer about 7 years ago.

I used the Becker 2660 changer which is the same as the Porsche CDC-3 changer.

You run a cable from the back of the radio head, into the front trunk, and then to the changer.

I called Becker people today. The CDR-210 will operate with the CDC-3 cd changer.

I will need to order a special harness for $60.

How tough was it to bring the cable into the passenger compartment? It looks like the access hole is behind the battery toward the driverside.

Thanks

It is not tough to run the CD changer cable from the back of the radio head to the changer spot in the front trunk.
