Everything is fine, but then...

My wife and I are zipping down the highway from a brief visit to IKEA (amazing what you can fit in those trunks!), and all of a sudden power is gone and idle is pulsating at the lower registers.

Pull over.

Idle is chugging like an asthmatic in trouble.

Turn off the car.

Turn back on.

Perfect. Pull back on the road and zip on home. Did something like a plastic bag suck into the intake and then fall out when the vacuum stopped upon shutting off the car? Could something have clogged an injector or something? Never happened before, has yet to happen again.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
