Smoke???

I have a new to me 2012 Boxster S, black edition with 320 hp Spyder engine and PDK....Car has 5100 miles...have had it since January,,,no problems whatsoever.

Stopped over a friends house this afternoon and parked out in the street, half on the grass and half on the street...Car had a noticeable tilt (about 10%) with passenger side higher than drivers side due to difference in grade....

About an hour later, I start up the car and there is a significant amount of white smoke coming out of exhaust...lasted about 30 seconds....

No problems at all on the ride home....

any ideas on what caused the smoke issue...did fuel, oil or fluid pool in some area due to the change in grade during the parking session??? Smoke was not black.

Condensation sitting in the Exhaust pipe while on the incline???

Most likely oil being burnt off after the car was parked on a side-to-side incline. Happens occasionally to flat 6 engines

2012? I assume it's under warranty. What did the dealer say? I doubt the fact that it's black and has 320 hp has anything to do with it .

Dealer said that this will happen with flat 6's parked on an incline...Searched online and there are a number of instances where this has happened. There were a number of mentions of an "Air-Oil" separator that may be the cause of this...do not know if this is applicable to my 2012

Car is running fine right now

I would agree it has to do with the slant/angle you were parked.
