Two Porsches for one
We're downsizing. It just got way TOO crazy trying to keep a '02 Boxster and '07 Cayman S serviced and on the road. AND, tinkering with a '99 Boxster track car while building a 914 for Prepared from a rusted pile of junk
![]() So we traded in the wife's Boxster and I'll be selling my Cayman private party. Look what's taking their place though... ![]() We'll share this 2014 Cayman (base) for a semi-daily driver. It's Anthracite Brown Metallic with PDK, 14-way adjustable memory sports seats and comfort package. I'm not missing the extra HP and this car actually feels lighter than the '07. We're very happy with it so far and NO MORE IMS WORRIES!

Nice,
I downsized from a Cayenne turbo, Cayman S and 911 SC to just the Cayman. A little sadder but my insurance is even sadder than me

Gorgeous! When you get a few miles on it, I'd love to hear more of a review.

![]() So far I'm REALLY enjoying this Cayman. It feels lighter than the '07 Cayman S. The 2.7L is responsive and coupled with the PDK, pretty quick. Granted, you don't get the brute pull of the 3.4L but it's still not a slug. The 18" Cayman wheels have less mass than the 19" OEM wheels that came with my '07 S so that helps also. Handling is very responsive and it's very well balanced (aren't all mid-engine Porsches?). The interior is ultra comfortable with the adjustable sports seats and infotainment package. My initial impressions on the larger center console have be tempered as I settle into the cabin. There's definitely more driver and passenger room in this Cayman. Strictly speaking bang for the buck and curb appeal - it was a good buy!
