Ok, I get a p0507 code in my 2001 boxster. Ive cleared it and when I do, the idle goes to where it is supposed to be. If I drive within city on small spurts, the code comes back after 20miles or o, but if Drive on long runs highway, or where I can wind out a bit, the code does not come back. I also got a p0128 and p0130 code once as well... I am leaning towards MAF issues, after reading these notes...Any feedback???

Check for air leaks on the intake air ducts. If there are none you could have a faulty maf or throttle housing.

I have a good spare MAF sensor if you need it. $50 shipped. You should check for a leak right where the airbox connects to the intake, in my experience that is a major culprit for unmetered air.
