1999 boxster - no power to the window switch?

1999 boxster, just replaced the headlight switch and both window regulators. There is no power to the power window switches. I have replaced the fuse (D1) and checked the power at the right and left switches in the console. no power on either. Also no line damage that i can see. Any ideas which direction i should be looking in?

Unlatch the front center convertible latch and relatch it down. the switch in the latch will prevent the window switches from working if the switch is going bad. Doesn't cost anything to try this
