very quick question : 986 boxster '98

can it be programmed so the indicators flash when the alarm is armed/disarmed?

currently, there is no positive confirmation that the car has locked or unlocked unless I'm close enough to hear the CL actuated. I'd like the indicators to flash.

can the behaviour be programmed with a PST2 or PIWIS?

Are you sure the car actually has an alarm? It was optional on the early cars.

If it has a factory alarm system, the lights should flash.......

Yeah I'm sure. In fact it was going off the other night in high winds, but, coming to think of it ... when it was going off it was just sound. I don't think the lights were flashing then, either ...

so maybe there's a discrete circuit for the lights via the alarm with a disconnect/blown fuse?

Anyone know?
