Error with Bordcomputer
2002 Boxster S, tiptronic.
I have a problem with the On Board Computer. After needed to disconnect the battery cable (another post/story). The message 'error Bordcomputer' is displayed. I have since disconnected and reconnected the battery cable and still no joy. I remember having this problem in the past but don't recall what sequence of doing things resolved. I'm not finding much pocking around here and on other forums. Is there a way to clear everything? I have used Durametric on it and find no error code displayed.

Well I love it when things get fixed, don't much care when it's unexplainable. Just for grins I disconnected the batter last night and went in the house to do other things. After about 45min I went back out and connected the battery. Error status for onboard computer has disappeared. I'm not quite sure what the magic number to leave it disconnected is but it seems to be OK now.
