Shocks & other suspension parts replacement freq?

I have a 2000S with about 76K miles on it. Overall the car drives and handles well but I wonder if it might not benefit from new shocks and freshening up bushings, control arms etc. Steering is tight and no shimmy. it currently has Boge shocks. Thinking of non-sport Bilsteins and keeping stock springs (possible?) as I like the current ride and ride height; don't want it too stiff. Comments?

The stock springs last longer than the shocks. I'd bet you could find some low mileage stock shocks for cheap that someone removed to upgrade. Stock are probably played out by 75k miles.
