A/C Shraeder Valve Core Removal Tool for Boxster

2001 Boxster S

I was planning on getting one of those live valve core removal tools. I need one to swap the core on my Tahoe, and was curious about using it on the Boxster also. I have not looked at the ports yet or researched it enough to find definitive information.

Does the Boxster have traditional shraeder valves?
Could I use one of those live remover/installer tools? if so, thread size? 1/4" 5/16" ? other?
Any particularly good source for the cores?

thanks

Still looking for some help

I ended up picking up a valve core removal tool. It fits the shrader valves which are on my tahoe, but the ones on the porsche seem to have a wider post and do not readily fit the tool. I can modify the tool, but am concerned about the valves themselves.

What specific shrader valve part # is needed? Any auto shrader valve? or is there some specific variant?

Ideally, Id like to use a suitable valve with a valve core with a narrower bar on it..
any help appreciated.
