cruise control lever
Can I replace the Cruise Control lever independent of the whole assembly or do I have to replace everything (wipers, OBC, turn signals & Cruise levers)
Found one,

JFP, I've been told by others that the cruise control in integrated into the stalk system and can't be changed independent of the other levers. Can or will you explain how I swap out just the cruise control lever? thanks

It has been written up online, over at the 986 forum if memory serves.

Apparently you can't just replace the cruise control lever. Several sources including my local Porsche mechanic said it can't be done.
LOOKING FOR A 4 STALK COMBINATION LEVER SET (wipers, cruise, obc, turn signals) PM me if you have one for sale thanks Larry

Au contraire! It can be done. The lever on my 2001 S, broke off at the base. (The upper right one). I used hollow steel pins. Then JB weld after they are pressed on. No need to dismantle anything.

You're describing the windshield wiper arm, I'm referring to the cruise control arm (below the upper right arm you described)

I meant the cruise activation lever, with the push button. Oops, lower right. Mine broke, but still worked, dangling. If you need the whole assembly, I've got one of those too. PM me.
