I have 2002 Boxster S, after passing 3000 RPM, the oil drip underneath on top of exhaust and makes smoke.
If I drive under 3000 RPM then no problem. can you tell me which gasket might me leaking and how to fix this issue. Thanks. __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: Pelican Technical Article: Common Boxster Engine Problems and Failures - 986 / 987 |

I would assume it is the valve cover gaskets. Give The Pelican Parts parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out what part or repair kit you need.

Boxsters did not use gaskets, they use a sealant compound.
