My 2007 Cayman TPMS randomly thinks I've changed wheels and I have to reset it.
I have a used Tire Pressure Control Module Unit 997 618 103 06 I'd like to try and see if that cures the issue. BUT...silly me, I can't find where the heck this thing lives in my car. Can anyone out there help me? Thanks Brad ![]() |

I finally found it. It is in the frond near the battery, Pretty easy to access. Had to take some of the trunk trim off to access it. For what it is worth, switching this out didn't completely cure my issue. Every once in a while it thinks I've change wheels and I have to reset it.

I really appreciate your responding on this. I went out and now found it also, thanks to your help. In my case I had a fault, so figured the sensor batteries were dead. Changing them out has not solved the problem (system will not learn, even after almost an hour of driving), so I figure it must be the module. Just ordered a new one, so let's see what happens when I swap that out. Thanks again.
