SCWDP Round-Up '03...Thanks to you all!
We had a good turnout of Canadian Porsche enthusiasts at this years Round-up. Thanks to you all (you know who you are).
I'm already planning the '04 Round-Up, which will be in Canada. Stay tuned, and be part of the fun in '04!

Bob, it was a close one for "Longest Drive" aka- "ridiculous drive??". Here is mapquest showing me at 1155 miles. although, i cut over to the coast north of San Francisco and followed the Pacific Coast highway and the 101 up to Oregon, then cut back to I-5. Not sure how many more miles this actually added. It definitely added time as the roads are a lot more twisty, and motorhomes/ tourists/ construction/ and big trucks tried to get in my way. I left early enough and drove hard enough that I had almost a full day to relax and unwind (and NOT drive) in Issaquah before the tour began Saturday morning.
On the way back to LA, I drove the Oregon and California coast, and 101 back to SF, then got on the interstate for a rapid blast SF to LA.; stopping just long enough for a couple of sunset photos. I had a great time. Thanks to all that spent time and energy (and gasoline) planning out the weekend roads. Tim had a big grin all weekend too!! (not just when the cute waitress was around) ![]() max

Sorry I couldn't make it; my son bailed out on me at the last minute and we've had alot going on here with our prime season of Lake enjoyment.
We were fortunate to have Tim Polzin and his son Ted stop by and spend the night with us though; it was a great visit and enjoyed meeting them. Too bad Tim didn't earn the long distance award, but I know he enjoyed himself nonetheless. Here's a shot my daughter took of us posing in front of Tim's 911; Tim's on the left, Ted in the middle and my Irish butt on the right. Next year I guess? See ya
