Track Days 2008
Hey all, I've created a google calendar for all the track days in Ontario for this season:
http://www.google.com/calendar/render?cid=8p312osirrue2j9hu56abhgtsk%40group.cale ndar.google.com I'm fairly new at google calendars (though I love it - it's a great way to keep the family organized!) so hopefully this works ok. If I have it right, anyone can view it, but you need to have a gmail address and be logged in to edit it. Please take it for a test drive and do let me know if our family stuff is showing up on there by accident! We've got 2 other family calendars and I think I've got them separated properly. Feel free to login and add or edit anything as you see fit, but let's keep it rather clean, and keep it to track days. And remember, this isn't your personal calendar - everyone can see what you add, so don't add things like "8pm appt at rub and tug" or anything else incriminating! Chris

Hey, Chris, thank you, that's very generous. I added some, mostly BMW events (which we can all go to if we join the club), but also the UCR/NNJR weekend. I don't know if they show up on the public calendar, though. Do they?

Hey Bill, it's no problem at all. I don't see what you've added, though. Do you have your own personal google calendar? If you do, and you added them to that, it won't show up on the public one. Look for this in the bottom left:
![]() and make sure when you add an event you add it to the "Track Days 2008" calendar (you can set your own colour-coding so as not to confuse it with your personal calendar). Hope that helps.

Awesome Christien!
I will try to join you at some lapping days as I may not be able to get away for a whole PCAUCR weekend now that I have a 6 year old and a 1 year old. Thanks for creating a central spot. Will you be using this thread or noting on the calender the ones you go to? For example, could pelican members add a note to the days to say if they plan to attend to let others know about local participation?

Hey, good thinking. Ok, I just checked, and no, you can't add details or anything, which sucks. Oh well, such is life. But yeah, maybe updating this thread (or the identical one on rennlist canada) as a "roll call" might be a good idea.
The calendar is far from complete - for example the BMW days aren't on there. With any luck whomever takes over the BRG staff and clientele will be running track days - I've got an email in about that. Plus UCR is talking about doing weekday DEs at TMP and Dunnville (YESSSS!!!!), so if/when those get booked, I'll add them.
