Restaurant in Calgary
For those of you guys in Calgary, a buddy of mine opened up his own restaurant in S.W. Calgary a while back; Check it out when you have the time! The owner, Scott use to drive a Carrera, so tell him hello and that Rob from the Pelican Porsche Club sent you by.... they also host events and special functions there!
Good food and beer joint, called Fergus & Bix www.fergusandbix.com/index.html Let me know if any of you have been there? Cheers! |

Thanks!
One thing I noticed the last time I was in Calgary is that the driving distances from one end to the other have grown exponentially! When I first moved there, I was coming from Toronto and I kept over shooting the distance on the maps; couldn't believe I could get from the top of the map to the bottom in just 15 minutes; where Toronto would've taken me 2 hours. I guess its not like that anymore? I was there on business a month ago and I'd set up some meetings at a Hotel near the airport..... I couldn't believe that some of the people where complaining that it was too far away for them? Anyway, some of you may know the owner of the restaurant; he drove a 4S for years, so say hi to Scott when you go in. Cheers! |

Bob, the owner's name is Scott; great guy! Tell him Rob is buying you a beer
and put it on my tab.Scott was an idea founder for Cactus Club. Then he owned Original Joe's, had a few restaurants and started the franchise. He's now at this one, but with his two kids he's gotten all proud about owning a Lexus SUV...... show him a "real" SUV will ya! Cheers! |
