Springtime in Calgary

The cars, oh the nice cars.

Nice to see some of the older P cars coming out, and seeing some of the newer ones as well, stretching their legs, so to speak.

As I am just new to the Porsche world it is nice to be driving with some of them. I was recently heading onto the Deerfoot when a newer 911 comes out around me like I was standing still and flashes before my eyes. At one point we were driving together with a Dodge Viper and an M3, just poking along down a stretch of the hi-way. It felt nice to be in such company.

Next weekend is our PCA's opening run that I hope to be attending for the very first time, more great company.

I guess the moral of the story is "There is no substitute"

Nice to see any tin in this town that isn't an SUV or 3/4 ton There was the spring thaw car show today at Deerfoot mall, and lots of old hot rods and muscle cars out to see. Good for the eyes!

I saw a white GT-3 yesterday morning.
He was the second P-car in 3 minutes that didn't flash back....
Maybe my flash to pass feature isn't working.....

Yes yes yes, it's about time. I got my 911 fired up this weekend and the summer tires and wheels on the Pepper.

What a great wife to let me have all of Saturday to work on my toys....

Darn missed the car show at Deerfoot mall. I must be out of the loop again.

I was wondering the same thing about the no flashing (but the lights work). Then I thought hey, what if its just the newbies that do that. Then the other owners can tell who the new owners are. Nahhhhhh, thats crazy talk.

Just got home from a nice 2 hour highway drive out West and back.
I found a piece of highway, 4 lanes, all alone........ opened her up to 250. Yikes!!!
Was doing 120 through some twistys too, just lovin' it!
Sweet, Sweet, Sweet.
Hot and Sunny

Good thing about bad weather at this time of the year is that it usually doesn't hang around too long? Anything goes in Calgary though until May long weekend.
