Garage
let's see your (canadian) garage pics.

well, we're in the depths of winter ( some places anyway, + 6 here this morning ), so how about some garage pics. seems like I'm spending a lot of time out there and I'm sure a lot of you are as well. honestly, I don't know how I'd manage a 12 month driving season. I usually run march till october-ish and at that I find the winter's hardly long enough to get all the projects done.

anyway, let's see some pics! Andrew, I'm paticularily interested in seeing some more of your garage . it looks very nice in the pics on the 'winter projects' thread.

here's a couple. I'll do more later.

first, best thing I've found to do with a targa.

and the required beverage fridge.

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

At my buddies in heated storage. Still for sale.

One thing when you build a shop, no matter what size, you'll say "damn...I should have made it bigger".

here's some pics of mine. true about the 'bigger' thing. the wall behind the TV has an 8X10 opening framed into the wall, just in case I need to go back further.
also, most things are for sale so if something catches your eye, drop me a line .

Garage
Almost finished

Last year Das Babe was stored 40 minutes away. After the long winter I swear that she would never leave me again...

So I converted the garage into a heated one and the van now live outside. Did get a remote starter.

JJ 911SC, that's a nice setup. I like the engine stand near daylight and fresh air. a thought you've probably already had, splashing some white paint on the ceiling would brighten things up a lot.

Now you know why you got my other "never use" engine stand

Yeah, I just run out of time... I got a white (fire retardant, FWIW) acoustic type tile, that will bright things up.

Actually I've been out of time ever since I got the car and I'm not even finish with last year Honey Do list... and my wife is not too happy () but since she is the one that send me a Porsche kijiji link, nobody else but herself to blame

Just getting the heater hooked up after installing some cabinets and such. The work shop is another building behind the garage.

My sanity saver. Not a large shop, but it works well for me. Rosie shares the space with wood, metal working and home reno projects. Without question, Rosie leaves when the sawdust or sparks fly. Oh, and my daughter's bird feeding addiction has its spot in the corner.

It is usually not this clean. Hosting a garage day in a few weeks and had to do the mandatory annual clean up.

February is upgrades to Rosie’s suspension (again) - elephant bushings this time with Bilstein sports all around, lowering and more camber. Need some advantage to stay with the newer cars as we carve up the twisties.
