mid June is doable. The SC does need to get lots of miles on it whilst the weather is good.
Please add me to the list and keep us posted on potential times. Am trying to work it in with another planned long distance trip for me and the car. Heading to Abotsford first only adds a day or so to my planned trip to the Yukon. jb

Much as I fear driving in Canada (RCMP confiscating cars for speeding) please add me to your list of participants. I'll just drive at the back of the pack at the posted speed.

OK, I'll try again. I screwed up the last post.
The participant list is updated. Tom, got you in there too. ![]() As for the BC traffic laws. Yup, they are heavy handed, but reality. Each of us is responsible for our own driving. More at the driver meeting.

The Queen's Cowboys can't confiscate a vehicle for speeding in BC unless you're 40 km/h over the limit, is what I was led to believe. Am I incorrect?

I hope that is just a gravel shoulder and not a gravel road surface in the picture. My car is very adverse to gravel and has a low road clearance (4 inches).

No gravel - not even traveling the road in the picture.

Participant list updated. In summary we have:
35 people 28 cars with 23 being yes and 5 maybe I know the numbers are going to change a little over the coming months, but there will need to be different run groups to accommodate this number of cars. More details later. As a suggestion, for those of you not using GPS equipment as yet - this would be a great gift for under the Christmas tree this year. For our American friends - be sure to have the correct ID for entering Canada. Found this info............Crossing the US Canadian Border

Love the pre-winter exuberance and enthusiasm.
![]() I'll opt for the "Fast Senior Group" with high hopes for no gravel and no more Restaurants like the Omak Koala serving glue-meat. Yikes! ![]() Be thinking about driving in the sun while pushing the snowblower.

If you can make this mid to late June, I will have a chance to attend. My daughter's high school graduation is on the 8th, as well as my wifes' 50th, so lots of stuff happening, but would love to open up the car a bit.
If you can put me on the list for now that would be great! Cheers, Mike

![]() Before the CanAm in June, we'll do a tour into NE Oregon in May because by that time the "Hibernators" in the interior of BC are very antsy to start the season with a "Defrost-kickoff". Date to be anounced later. The country roads we go on are ideal for spirited driving; great condition and very little traffic. It's quite unbelievable; 8-9 hours of sheer bliss with lots of curves. ![]()
