Weather... sucks...
Flames beat the Oilers like a rented mule... Good...
Flames missed the playoffs... Sucks
Didn't expect them to do as well as they did... Good..
Not much to do outside due to the weather... Sucks..
Taking the little monster into the garage to clean up his old bike to sell on Kijiji ... Great...
Spring looks to be a while off here...
Can't wait for it to warm up.

For Bill & our Calgary friends

A little off-topic......... Plans for new race track near Calgary pick up speed - Calgary | Globalnews.ca

What's the local feeling about this? It looks as though it might be gaining some traction.

Cheers
JB

Calgary area needs something bad since the city closed Race City. There was 2 competing proposals but don't what status of second one was/is.

The Rockyview track is going through approvals but has to get past the nimbyism that is rampant here. Their is no appetite whatsover for a permanent or even temporary track in the city. This one is in neighbouring county which historically has had no problem taking developments Calgary has no patience for.

There are lots of enthusiasts here and lots of cash so something is inevitable.

The other one is Badlands Motorsport Resort. From my take, they are ahead of the Airdrie one.

Thats the one. Out by Rosebud. A little farther from the city but that may be to its approval advantage. Go for a trackday and stop by the theatre
