a quick hello!

hi folks,

just wanted to give a quick hello and intro, as im new to the forum and will be new to Vancouver. (end of august) also new to porsche ownership.
this car has been in my life for most of it, (father owned it for near 20 years) and now its my turn to get up close n personal. im trying to learn as much as possible about the car, and the forum has helps a great deal. I am mechanic by trade, however prefer to keep it as a personal hobby/pastime. So im a big fan of the DIY treads! and hope to create some of my own as i learn more and do more.

were moving from Florida, but lived the better part of my life in Montreal.
were both excited about the change, and seeing some nice landscape again.
Looking forward to meeting other porsche lovers and going to the various events and meets.

ill get some pics up of the car once or if the weather decides to clear.
