2014 CanAm Tour - feeler - not the official thread

so....... sitting here in the middle of winter with the wind howling outside and the snowdrifts piling up makes me think of spring.

and what's the best thing about spring?

THE CAN-AM! of course

who's running the show this year? can I sign up yet? hoping to run three cars this year.

a reminder....

Whatcha getting painted Andrew? Is that your blue one, or something else?

But Don does have a question that should be on everyone's mind about this time of year...

Oh, wait, those were YOUR RS flares Don cut off. I hope there's some madness to your method...

Don, that is a damn good question.

The usual suspects haven't even mentioned it yet - everyone has been too busy. You know - life, work and home stuff tend to take priority.

2014 will be Canadian hosts. Time is ticking - need some action here.

Hmmmmmm, the twisties, the warm wind against your skin, the sound of more gas going into the tank, the pressure against the steering wheel, the upper rev range of a flat 6, the laughter and fun at rest stops and evening socials.......... Ah yes, the CanAm.

Let's do this.

I'm happy to do what I can.

I know everyone is busy and has other time commitments, so any thoughts on this?

could we break it up into three days and three people? each responsible for mapping, organizing, and pre-running one days drive. maybe this has been tried before or there's a reason it won't work. we'd have to come up with start and end locations for each day.

day one - Vancouver to ???
day two - ??? to ???
day three - ??? to Vancouver

Charlie? what do you think?

I'll chat with the boys tonight. Can't get into too much discussion because the significant others are with us.

Not much CanAm discussion last night. More focus on friends, food and beer.

Will get back to this in January.

Is this going to happen? A certain 3 year old co-pilot would love to go on one of these...

Yes. Got to sit down with the guys and hammer this out. Right now - everyone is busy or in warmer climates. Hope to firm this up in the next few weeks.
