Calgary Pelicans

Hi all

Can someone in the Calgary area look at a car for me?
The car is located in the Calgary area.
All I'm looking for if someone can just look the car visually and give me an honest assessment of the car.
It will save me from flying out to look at it.
I will compensate for your time.
By the way it's a Corvette.
I can be reached by e-mail
brian.borison@sympatico.ca

Thanks in advance

Brian

Brian,

I would but i know less than nothing about Corvettes, if no one else who knows the car better volunteers, i can just tell me what to look for and I could probably setup video as well.

Hi Bob
The car is in Stony Plain Alberta.
All I'm looking for is that the car exists and it's not a scam. I know nothing about Corvettes as well.
I will run a Car-Proof if I hear back from the seller.
I e-mailed back the seller @3pm eastern time today to ask if I find someone can they swing by and look at it. I haven't heard back yet.

Thanks

Brian

Stony plain is near Edmonton, probably at least 300km from Calgary. Perhaps an Edmonton Pelican would be more appropriate. Cheers

Update

I heard back from the seller this AM. I'm going to keep looking. He's owned the car for 1.5 years and bought it with a bad engine. He replaced it with a crate motor.
I'm a little leary about that. For me it's to much cash to spend for a car with a questionable engine. The car was an 07 Z06.
Thanks to all that replied.

Brian

Wouldn't a brand new "crate engine" be preferable to a higher mileage original one?

Maybe, but logistically it would be tough for me to fly out there find a mechanic to go over the car.
If it was a dealer sale I would feel more comfortable.
I'll keep looking.
