auto cross in cakgary ? anybody no where I can get some info , that stuff sounds like fun.

Contact either the Calgary Motorsports Club or the Wild Rose Region PCA. I'm sure either club could direct you to local events. Also, check out Race City Motorsports Park... they have vintage races and road racing there.

Thanks , I have heard some sketchy stuff about Race city but I will look into it for sure, I did some legends car racing this summer and the track was thrashed ( oval ) but vintage racing sounds fun I would assume it's on the road course.

Ken Tubman, ktubman@shaw.ca, runs the PCA autocrosses,as well I think he is involved with the Calgary Sports Car Club stuff.

The PCA events use one end of the road track with minimal cones so it is pretty high speed, the CSCC use either the road track or the oval, much more a classic autocross with lots of cones.

We should definately,at least,organize some kind of get together.I didn't realize there was this many Pelican lurkers and posters from the Calgary area. I love to look at other people's cars and talk Porsches...

Count me in for a spring get together.

Also, if anyone is interested the Calgary Sports Car Club is also running a Solo I school and race days, the school and 5 track days is $550. I am giving it a try, hope to see some of you out there.

Good call Rick I will need some dates etc I am all over that , anyone that wants to race Karts on the first Sunday of each month here in Calgary give me a blast what the deal is a bunch of the legends guys get toghether and race it out takes two or three hours ,qualifying a and b heats etc great time I recommend it.

$250 deposit required by March 31 for Solo I.

If not a member of CSCC you will need a membership, which is I believe $75 through www.cscc.ab.ca
