ahaha it all makes sense now!
I was half wanting that car for $1200 and half feeling bad the op did not know the cars value- I couldn't run with it. hard pill to swallow for the op :/ such is life right?

I could have bought a nice complete '66 912 with not matching engine on a pallet. Colour change, but no rust, perfect chrome, interior, with a tank cut in for a /6, etc....real nice car.
I passed on it because of above and it was only a 912. ![]() About 7 years ago, I could have picked it up for less than $9K

I paid $500 for that car. sold it six months later and doubled my money. so all good
|
