Boxster Stuff

Back in the day Porsche introduced the Boxster to the world in Scottsdale Arizona. This was a couple of years after they blew the roof off of the Detroit Auto Show with the concept.

They took over the Scottsdale Princess Hotel for more than a month. The first week was devoted to showing the car to the worldwide press, second week to dealer principals, third week key dealership personnel and finally the last week was for a few loyal Porsche customers who had deposits for the first cars. We were one of those few.

They wined and dined us for three days with the culmination of the trip actually driving the cars for a few hours.

Needless to say, we received a bunch of swag including this presentation box which is in excellent condition. I've stored it for 25 years and it's time for someone else to have it.
