Interrstate Hwy reconstruction

10 miles of I-70 through northeast Denver is being widened and sunken. The section east of I-25 to Colorado Blvd has a been a 6-lane elevated viaduct through a neighborhood since it was built in the 60"s. They are changing to a 12-14 lane ditch and tunnel. The tunnel will give space for a soccor field and a performing arts amphitheater. The engineering behind rain water management was a marvel in itself, but we don't see much about it.
