Holly Hunter's 911 on 'Saving Grace'

I'm watching Holly Hunter in 'Saving Grace' on TNT right now. Her character drives a 911 all through the film (including wrecking it, but it's miraculously saved).

So, I was trying to nail down the exact year. Any takers?

74 to 77, non flared, so just a 911S.

I thought had flares. Thought it was either a Turbo without badge or Turbo Look, but I have to admit after the opening scene, I was a little sidetracked.

I watched it for the Porsche which they had shots of in the network promo, the first few minutes were just a bonus. Holly is pretty much a skank in the show and the angel thing is a little hokie but I'll watch the next segment to see where it goes.

"Damages" looks interesting as well. Glenn Close can be a wicked women, still have nightmares from "Fatal Attraction".

yea I have to watch it with the wife but +1 for using a Porsche. Although she treats it like a Ford. Wonder what she thinks she is driving

actually the car is a "franken" porsche.

i got stopped when i crew was filming in my neighborhood asking if they could use my car for a show they were going to be working on, said they'd pay me and they had insurance! i've been in LA long enought ot have heard enough horror stories of cars used for film, tv- no respect i tell ya!

- they had shot the pilot episode with a black 930 up in Canada I believe and this guy thought my 88 NA coupe was the right fit since they show had just gotten picked up and they needed to get the car in place. i told him no way- also told him he needed hips and a tail-

so . . . i gave them dave, jeremey and the guys at TRE who put together a car that fit that bill- it's no 930! for sure- just a look a like of some type- not sure on the exac specs, think it's a mid year with welded hips? - maybe dave or jeremey can chime in . . .

anyway, that's the story of the car- roughly!
