Porsche Crest P Car withdrawal

Hey guys, I just moved to DC for a year with my job and (for now) left my P cars behind. With the traffic here they would be pretty useless. I do plan to bring up my 99 996 cab in May (once the salt clears) for weekend use. The N Va roads, especially around the mountains are great; I am looking forward to them. I checked the local PCA region and they do not seem to have monthly meeting. Any swap meets, tech session Sat morning events that are scheduled please let me know. I plan to make Hershey in April (I have driven up from Ala the last three years).

Check out the BB at www.dorkiphus.com. Lots of DC-area owners are preparing for the March DE at Summit point. There are several engine installs planned for the next couple weekends, plus a Tech Inspection on March 5.

The Dorki crowd is very hands-on, and there are also a couple fun runs per year. One is being planned in April for the Eastern Shore.

Porsche Crest No va

Dear David,

Thanks, however the web site gave me the following message:

Sorry, but this board is currently unavailable. Please try again later.

If don't mind please let me know about the details of the March 5th gig. If I have time I will be glad to help with the engine swaps, I have several 911's and do all my own work.

Regards, David

David: the Dorki Board has been down today. This is an anomoly, and there are likely a few dozen DC-area Porsche owners suffering from withdrawal. I know I am -- that's why I logged onto the PP BB today -- I was looking for fellow Dorkis.

Anyway, check www.pcapotomac.org for info on the March 5 Tech Inspection. It should be on the calendar, or listed with the DE info.
