Also, might want to test your camshaft sensor: MINI Cooper R56 Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement (2007-2011) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article. Could definitely be VANOS as P0015 with MINI FC code 0x2D61 is VANOS, exahust: Closed-loop control fault, position not reached. 0x2845 is 'B' camshaft position timing over-retarded (bank 1) and 0x2D60 is VANOS, exhaust: closed-loop control fault, camshaft sticks. Depending on which one you have I've seen VANOS, skipped timing, or camshaft position sensor as the culprit. Report back with your findings!
