Early on a Sunday morning would be good. However, it will have to be after Easter at this stage.
I'm going down to Bowral on Sunday to stay the night and hope to go for a drive to Kangaroo Valley. That's a nice piece of road if you dont get stuck behind some freak Nissan Urvan doing 20!

ok - 3rd or 17th April is good for me. I havn't had the chance to try the Kangaroo valley road in the 911 yet (just picked it up last weekend) but it was a favourite in my old car. Great round trip going from Berry over the mountain & through Kangaroo valley to Robertson or Bowral.
What time would you like to meet at the north entrance? Micahael? Once we fix a date I'll start a new thread to see if others are interested.

Damo,
If your going to do the Kangaroo valley you can do a round loop and come back up to Bowral via Macquarie Pass Do it at night lots of fun. Michael |

Driving the car on winding roads in the day time is scary enough for the moment. I think a nightime drive would require strapping some Dolphin torches on the bonnet for more light.
Even though I have H4 lights, they are still very dim compared to modern day cars.

Nice car,
Did you know you also qualify for membership of the SCWDP. Are those 15" wheels or 16". I have 7 & 8 15" on mine. Car looks in nice nic.

What does SCWDP stand for?????
16" wheels with 7s and 8s Outside and inside is very good. Has been resprayed with all new rubbers on the outside. Original seats in good condition. Dash has been replaced at some stage. Currently fixing up the ventilation system. Butchered by PO. Have been told the top end is a bit warn out. However, I am watching the oil consumption at the moment and I am not loosing any oil and no oil drips when its parked (only driven about 800km to date) Reading all the threads, it you valve guides and top end are warn you should go through more oil than normal. Will wait and see. Just hope I dont hear a big bang and find a valve sticking out of the valve covers

It's more something in the main section of the board that the has been going on for ages. Something to do with SC v's Carrera rivalry I think. But if you post in the main board I'm sure someone from the USA will try and recruit you. I think they had stickers and t shirts made up (bit over the top). I'm not part of it BTW.

Gavin, Michael
I have just spoken to the 'Boss'. I might be able to get the kids to stay at the Grandparents that night so I might be able to make it still. Hold the 3rd and I will keep you posted.

I think I'm OK for the 3rd aswell..
And the ol Shire debate - At some stage in the future we will be asking "if by any chance were your parents brother and sister".. As me how I know - 24 years living in Gymea Bay and got a passport out 14 years ago. What is the frikkin attraction unless you like 4 bedroom two story homes with a FWD Pajero out the front with white neighbours......... Just kiddin guys - as I said lived there - understand it well. cheers Shane (Lewisham Sydney EX Gymea Bay 14 years)

Shane,
Be careful I escaped from Lilli Pilli and now reside in Gymea Bay. The attraction is National Park Five Minutes away for testing teh race car at night Water at the front door for wakeboarding Michael |

Michael you down graded - what happened ?, Yes we had a waterfront at the Bay.. It is really quite a nice world, however when you work in the city she is a long way away at times.
The run thru Bulli is quite interesting. Shane
