OP: Instead of trying to hock counterfeit garbage on the BBS (illegal here in the US BTW), I would advise you to smash that POS with a hammer.

I'm not interested in any functioning watches, but I still have some space to fill on Salvadore.

Never saw the original thread...Nifty.
.
My ex g/f...international business woman...used to buy ladies Rolex knock offs in Hong Kong for $25 and sell them for whatever she could get.
Sometimes $100.
She always disclosed...never deceived.
The ladies loved 'em.
.
Edit: LOL, HDrive

Cut the guy some slack.

He disclosed it was a knock off.

I know people who have real and knockoffs of the same item.

Sometimes you want to rock the item but the occasion does not warrant risking the real deal.

I'm trying to figure out why or if that makes sense.

I feel like it does.

But then again, doesn't.

End of day the result is the same.

Not sure I'd feel better about being dead because they got the real deal.

I think i'd rather rest in peace knowing they got suckered.

yeah, it's like putting turbo badges on a non turbo, I just don't feel the need to be a phony.

I get it but still.

It's like "I'm dead AND they got my Turbo" vs "I'm dead but they didn't get my Turbo"

It's one of those personal things where one opinion is not really any more valid than another but for me I think "I'm dead but they didn't get my Turbo" feels like the most winning one can do while losing, given the situation.

So, as long as I "disclose" that I am infringing on someone else's work/IP/trademark and/or illegally selling counterfeit goods (which, cumulatively contributes to terrorism/organized crime), all is well?

Then you associate with some poser/wannabe folks, IMO.
If I want to "rock" the real thing I will. If not, I won't. The thought of substituting it at any point with counterfeit junk would never even enter my mind. YMMV I suppose...

Reminds me of when someone threw a concrete block through the side window of my car and if smashed the door card of the opposite door. All the scum took was my sandwich bag containing a half eaten chocolate bar
Taught me to never leave anything on view in a car. . Cost quite a bit for repairs.

Rather like having to wear a false arm after the real one was hacked off to steal a fake watch.

I have a couple of Hong Kong Rolex Presidents that need batteries.

I wear a $6 Citizen Ecodrive. Guess where I got it.

I also have a Citizen Titanium Pilots Ecodrive. That was $18.00.
