I've seen plenty of coyotes. That doesn't look like a coyote. It does sort of look like a mountain lion base don the musculature. Where was this taken? What state?

Actually, it looks like a deer.

Hmmm, upon further review, I'm not sure. There are two black spots in the head area - I initially took the higher one as an eye, which made me think deer. However, if the lower one is an eye (and the higher one just the darkness behind what might be the critter's ear) then I'm thinking lion.

Whatever it might be though, it's certainly not a coyote.

I don’t know what it is, but I do know that it doesn’t belong there.

Picture taken under the ULD system at Cargolux O'Hare.

Also:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/chicago.cbslocal.com/2018/08/06/cougar-sighting-northwest-suburbs/amp/

The possible sighting was about 15 miles west of O'Hare and within a few days of when the picture was taken.

Not a coyote. A deer would have some evidence of substantial ears. Body build could be a big cat. The white neck goes lower on the neck than deer I've seen, Mtn lions have a white neck like that. Color seems OK for a Mtn Lion. Can't make out the tail, might be curled under the body. Bobcat would be colored differently, with some mottling. So, I'd guess Cougar.

Yote. Clear as a bell for me. Not sure what you guys are seeing. Yotes come in many tones. That fair lower mane would be natural for them. Come on....a feline? Really?

Drama queens? Why?

Of course you had the benefit of post no. 5 wherein the location was disclosed. Not many lions in the Chi-town area.

Some of you must have some really well fed coyotes out there. All the ones I have screen are scrawny. Canines usually have their paws protruding out in front of them when they lay down. This thing looks like it is laying on top of its front paws. That is a cat move.

Scared coyote.

A mountain lion is very very very unlikely to be found near ORD and even less likely to tolerate it's picture being taken like that.

my vote is coyote. Looks like it's got a long pointy nose, and too thin to be a Mt Lion.

Not sure what you are looking at, but the nose is completely obstructed by the metal support.

Coyote. Tail wrapped around by the rear leg and big ears. Plus the whole Occam's razor thing...

Are you guys looking on this on your phones? Look at the orange lines. There are no eyes, snout, mouth or ears visible, well maybe a bit of the center part of the ear. And in the other link, someone reported a large cat 15 miles from this location a few days later.

Dog. Just by sheer numbers it is far more likely to be a dog than a coyote or big cat. Occam's razor and all that.
