The P11 looks fantastic to my eyes. I'm not man enough to ride one of these bad boys across the Mojave at speed. Any speed for that matter.

bought my first real bike recently, Did have a 50 cc as a kid, but not the smarts to ride it sensibly (did crash it).. Managed to hold back the urge till 42, but finally gave in..

I figure an old BMW is plenty fast enough for me..

this almost eliminates the need for a morning coffee after the commute. almost.

i love ripping thru quiet vineyards and small farms in the AM.

Thanks, It's in pretty good shape, just need to replace the front fairing bracket as it sags a bit.

Paint is great , only the bottom engine fairing has been blasted by debris coming off the front wheel.
But it's not visible when standing next to the bike..

It's only a bit darker then my 120D daily
Saddle is light grey, but overexposure cheap camera makes it look bright white.

It's almost 20 years old now, hard to believe. It still looks like new (old picture below though).

Been looking at R1100RS's , it's on my short list for possible stable expansion , they are cool bikes

BMW had some really bad styling changes after that.

back in 68 my wife had a P11, 5ft tall. Traded it for a Commando as the frame and seat allowed me to lower it a bit for her. Not a great pic but this is it.

Put 300 km on this year. No time to ride.

2016 Tiger 800 XRT. Sold the big BMW GS, Ducati 900ss and the KTM 450. One bike to hopefully cover most of those bases.
