Nice S1000RR, my favourite colour combo. There was a white and red 2018 RR for an excellent price that I was slow to react on a couple weeks ago, pretty sure Holeshot has it for sale now. On my list for next time.

Finally was able to move some of my bikes over to the new storage unit.
Started with the '83 VF750F. then the (Chinese) Hawk 250, and lastly the BMW (not shown in the photos). Took longer on the BMW because I had to do a last minute fuel line and petcock replacement. Luckily, I had all the parts on hand. Cheated on the crossover line and ran it behind the air box, for now. The e-bike worked great as a commuter to get me back home again after each delivery. Looks like there's enough room for 6 bikes total so I can take 3 more over. I started to take the Blue Interceptor (one of my '87 VFR700F's) out but looks like the clutch isn't disengaging so will work on that tomorrow. The weather is about perfect right now. I have to also say that BMW is VERY enjoyable to ride! Don't get me wrong....I love the other machines...but something about that Boxer engine and the overall design of the bike really feels amazing! The e-bike ride home after dark was great too. Hardly any traffic and the bike has lights. 2 wheels feed the soul is right! ![]()

Went through a box of spares today trying to get better organized.....an ongoing endeavour here that will never end...lol....
Among other items.....I have two sets of locks and keys for my vintage Interceptors. One includes a whole gas tank! The other just the cap. Also a tool kit with original Honda badged bag. ![]() Tomorrow it's back to work on the blue bike trying to get the clutch to work.....got some new parts today so fingers crossed!

![]() As you all already know I also ride a KTM, 2017 SDGT now with 42K miles on the clock. It's been amazing and reliable. Admittedly the suspension needs a service and the next valve check/adjust (no adjusted needed to date), plugs, filters, fluids and brake pads are also on the agenda.

If I were to get a second bike it would likely be a supermoto of some sort. We have great roads just 5 minutes away heading East for that sort of hooligan. A skinny bike with big A front brake and street tires would be more fun than a barrel of lesbians.

I've been doing alot of big motorcycle trips the last few months. First time in over a year I don't have something in the works. That will probably change any day now....
![]() ![]() This is a bunch of us in Northern California last month. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a bunch of us in Spain. Best consecutive riding I've ever done. Every day for 9 days was unbelievable riding. ![]() ![]() Another friend and I rode up to Monterey on Harleys a few weeks back. I rented the gold one and haven't stopped thinking about it since. A Road Glide will definitely be in my garage some day. Wouldn't own it as an only bike, but definitely as an additional bike. My buddy who was riding the dark blue bike was also renting that bike, although he's owned Harleys in the past....he just picked up his new Harley yesterday.

I really really enjoyed riding it. I thought the 114 in motor was sweet. Plenty of pep for the kind of riding i would do with it. It just made me feel good. Those CVOs are really nice. The bike my buddy rented was a CVO with the 117. Lotta little things it had like power locking of the saddle bags and heated grips that my Road Glide Special didn't have.
Question for ya, did you change out your bars or are you still running the stock ones. That was my only complaint, the stock bars didn't work for me. The turn in at the end was not comfortable.

Mine is a 2018 with stock bars. I have done a few changes, windshield, grips and some exhaust and tuning, but otherwise it is pretty stock. I have the Tourpak for longer multi day trips as well and the quick release bracket deal.
It is my second Harley (first was an '06 Electra Glide) and they have both run flawless. Oil changes and tires. The bars on the gold one look strange though, they do not look like mine. |

Curious what your bars look like. The bars on the two bikes we had were the same except for finish.
