Another nice find - this time in Phoenix.........
1990 Honda vtr250 interceptor, 2200 original miles - $2,000 (Phoenix) Hardly ridden, it sat a while, but the carburetors and hydraulic front brake has been rebuilt. New Battery, clean title. Runs and ready to go. Took close ups of any defects. Manuals included, have new mirrors for it but forgot to put em on for the pic. Located in Phoenix just north of Sky Harbor Airport. I'm moving and can't take trades, just cash. Can deliver for an extra $50, if you're in the phoenix area.

Picked up another 2nd Gen. So far just a verbal agreement but my check is in today's mail so should be a done deal.
Nice running original example with a few cosmetic imperfections on the fairings mostly but nothing serious. Was just tuned, so ready to ride. Will post again after arrival - which might take a couple more weeks. This is an '87 and one of those rare ones built in America at the Marysville, Ohio plant. ![]() My other White one is an '86, built in Japan...so felt I needed to grab this one. ![]() Also, this will be my first Interceptor with a "Yoshi" pipe!

Another beauty....this one located in San Diego:
Rare 4-cylinder Honda imported to the US from 1989-1991. Gem of a 4-cylinder engine with gear driven cams and a 14000 RPM red line controlled though a 6-speed transmission. 100+ MPH 400cc motorcycle. Has a period correct full exhaust system, that makes a wonderful 4-cylinder noises. Completely ready to ride, owned for the last 10 years by a motorcycle shop service manager. Carburetors all are clean, fresh fuel lines and fluids. Good Conti tires. Clean CA title that is currently non-opped. I am selling it privately out of my shop, as it's my own personal bike with a title in my name. No test rides https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/mcy/d/san-diego-classic-cylinder-cb400-honda/7743025331.html

I had a 89 CB-1 for some time, rides like an angry bee all the time, pistons the size of a thumb.
Great for tight tracks & twisties. ![]() ![]() ![]() 599 was a more practical replacement for street usage, less shifting required. ![]() ![]() Even Ninja 250 was a comparable to the CB-1 with similar reliability and performance. Far more parts available than the CB-1.

Thanks.
Had me a Hawk GT & Bandit 400, too.. much of a cult bike like the CB-1; tough to find parts for each of them. ![]() ![]() But then I discovered SV650S, with cheap parts & just as much fun. Even had one for the wife to ride, his & hers SV650s.

This morning I filled the tank off my Euro RC15 with Evaporust. All the way to the tippy top. Took like 5 1/2 gallons. This is the same tank I was treating with electrolysis a couple months back. I was never satisfied with the electrolysis so going to try this method.
The plan is to get this tank in proper condition and put back on the Euro.....which it was on originally.....and then take the tank off the Euro, which is in great condition, and put it on my '84...now that it's ready for the road again. I ended up buying a 5 gallon bucket of the Evaporust. I already had 2 1/2 gallons of it, so started off pouring those in the tank. Then using a battery operated transfer pump re-filled the gallon jugs up from the bucket to pour into the tank until I got her filled up all the way. Now the bucket is empty and I have the balance of ER in the two gallons jugs to save for future needs. I will leave the ER in the tank until Thursday morning and then using the transfer pump, pump it into the next fuel tank. I have 2 more to do after this one. When those 2 tanks are done I will pump it back into the 5 gal. bucket. I also put a new petcock on her and a new sender. A few pics from today......

Eastwood, POR15 and others have a gas tank repair and sealing kits Baz, may want to look into those too.

Thanks for the info! I already have a kit on hand from Caswell, but these tanks of mine aren't too bad and should be OK without any sealing necessary, which of course if the preferred way to go. If anything changes I will be sure to post here. They also sell a nice masking product you can use to cover your tank before sealing to protect the finish. https://caswellplating.com/

Anyone near Omaha? This looks like a good deal.......
1984 VF750F Interceptor - $1,200 (Omaha) https://omaha.craigslist.org/mcy/d/omaha-1984-vf750f-interceptor/7744058955.html This bike used to be a project bike until yesterday. The bike is now complete. There is still work to be done but what an awesome old bike. I have not gotten it running but need to move it out. The lights come on but won't engage the starter. I don't have time to work on it any more so it must go. First with local cash takes it. Clear Iowa title. Check out the pics for more info. If interested, my name is Mike and you can contact me through Craigslist. Thank you.

Rode. My BMW R60/2 about 200 miles down to an airheads tech weekend in Missouri. The bike never missed a beat, even when I was getting rained on!
