I have owned my mazda b2200 for over 20 yrs.

bought a chevy blazer in the 90's with a bad motor. what a piece of junk.
I now own a dodge Dakota. as I say every time I walk into the parts, I will never buy another dodge.

Most of my cars have been German, although I've owned a fair number from other countries. I've owned more Porsches and Audis than anything else, probably will always have an Audi A8 from this point forward.

Nothing really comes to mind, brands fall off in quality, I go shopping for something else.

After experimentation I only use one particular Rosin maker for my Erhus. That is a highly personal decision as there really is not a "best", but rather what suits.

After Porsche screwed over 996/986 owners I have avoided modern Porsches. Maybe they've fixed their ways, maybe not.

I got a modern Jaguar instead of a modern 911 when I wanted a comfortable GT to make daily driving easy. The 911 was a better car in some respects. The Jaguar does keep my 2+2 hatchback lay out of my 944's.

All my mice are by the same brand (razor), but that is because they are the only one that make a mouse like it. Three different ways to click the middle mouse button, scroll wheel, left/right mouse button, then fourteen more buttons.

I consider making my next addition a Japanese car. I love the sound of their high revving small displacement engines.

I've owned VW and Porsche more than any other car brand, so...
Other brand loyalty: Vans (a new pair follows home every time I take the kids shopping), Spyderco, Benchmade, Snap-on, Filson, Tom Bihn, Samsung, Stoli, Wild Turkey, Hendricks

Toyota is my choice. Used to be Ford but after my second blown out of the head spark plug incident I’m done with Ford.

I have had the same Chevy for 27 years, so I guess some loyalty is there.

I am certainly old enough to remember the days when it was Ford or Chevy, for 90% of the drivers. Much of the loyalty was learning how to repair that brand, and making fun of the other guys with teasing.

I know some other guys my age that stuck with Ford or Chevy simply because their dad did, and they know the difference between a Windsor and Cleveland engine. And the small block guys all laughed at the overpriced Ford engines. Then the rare MOPAR guy comes along with big bucks Hemi elephant engines.

Well lots of brand loyalty for lots of reasons. I do get the ones that drive what dad drove. My dad hated cars. Did not care about brand, he hated them all. Some of you have had a lot of cars. I guess I have had more than my share.

I buy the best deal I can find used

my 914 was vw powered and being a euro model had the vw-porsche name plate
my current ranger truck said ford on it but was really a re-badged mazda with a ford motor
my wifes ''honda'' SUV is really a re-badged isuzu SUV with NO honda parts except the name plates

had 1/2 dozen 65 corvairs when they were cheap [thanks to nader]
bmw had a 1602 1800 1800ti 2002 635 733 then got tired of the parts costs
and recently switched volvo 122 145 245t 745t 940 and two 245 93 last model currently

What about age loyalty. I cant stand all the newer cars and their numbness and plastic everywhere. Iv never owned a car newer than an 89 nissan 240sx. Iv loved every car iv owned except the ones iv flipped right away. I guess the most loyalty is twords Jeep. I love the old willys and keiser jeeps but hate anything amc and newer. My dad is a chevy guy my great grandfather wouldnt own anything other than chrysler. Of course that was back before the 80s. Im not an old guy either Im only 33

Like my dad. He thought of cars as big expensive appliances that are parked outside. Just transportation from here to there.

I fell in love with the 911 back in the late 1960s when I first saw one.

This is me, somewhat, except my Dad had an Austin-Healey 3000 when everyone else was driving Chevys and Fords... I was doomed to love sports cars from a young age. ;)

Love Porsche's as a fun hobby car but our family is loyal to Honda's when it comes to daily drivers. Lots and lots of reliable miles with little cost or hassle.

i dont think i have own the same brand of automobile in subsequent purchases. oh..maybe a jeep cherokee to a jeep CJ7. but in general, i am all over the place.

Remember when ketchup was thick? Not like the watered down crap they sell nowadays. Everything went downhill when they put it in squeeze bottles. Same with mayo.

Back when I was your age they used thick as a selling point in advertisements!

I am loyal to price, reliability and logistics for our families DD's, that's it.

I won't own a DD BMW, for instance, because the nearest dealer is over a hours drive from me and I am not a fan of the euro independent repair shops near me.

For my hobby cars, they have all been German. However, after driving a Saab Turbo convertible a few weeks ago that may change. :cool:

Used to buy only Ford trucks for the jobsites/work until they screwed me on warranty work. Back in the 80's we were buying 2-3 vehicles a year, my truck had 15k miles in 11 months, on a 12/12 warranty. They wouldn't fix peeling paint, it was coming off in sheets on the whole vehicle.

A few years ago, chevy wouldn't honor an tech bulletin(recall?) for dash lights and heater, claimed I was notified. Nope.

No more. Currently happy with Hondas and Subarus.

German cars (and a couple Japanese over the years).... Toyota trucks... Honda motorcycles.
I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER UAW BUILT auto from the big 3.
