How many do you remember?

..and as soon as "Fat Albert" came on, you knew it was about time to go outside and play

Lol. I remember almost all of it except for land of the lost and a few of the commercials.

It's funny how all those snippets from the intros are lodged in the ol' noggin. "LLLLLLLLLLAND OF THE LOOOOOOST" with the Sleestack and Chaka. Not to mention the theme song to H.R. Pufnstuf (remember the name of the flute?)...Hong Kong Phooey ("the number on super guy)..

I still quote them sometimes

and Fat Albert...I was burned out by then so it was time to go outside (11:00 if I remember correctly) because most of the neighborhood kids would be up and about by then.

caveat: born in '63, so just the early 70's

oh..and to add: :"Conjunction junction, what's your......"....earworm of the day

When my kids were small, I bought a bunch of the 50s classic Loonie Tunes VHS cassettes, Bugs Bunny and the rest. Now my granddaughter is being indoctrinated.

As kids we watched cartoons in the late afternoon. I don’t know why my brother and I never got into Saturday morning cartoons. When we visited our cousin we watched Sky King, that show with Andy Devine, My Friend Flicka, etc. My son never really watched the Saturday morning shows either.

I was done with Saturday cartoons by the 70s.

Why back in my day we only had three channels, it was in black and white and we were happy about it! Get off my lawn.

I almost put that last line in green, but it is 100% true, even if it is just the start of a Monty Python skit.

Crusty Old Bastid here...a COB

By the time the 70's rolled around, I was already driving a Porsche, working 6 days a week, and playing as hard as I could on the 7th.

Enjoy your childhood memories, you young punks!

My go to programs were Howdy Doody, Space Patrol, Kookla Fran & Ollie (sp. ?/Pronunciation ?), Roy Rogers, etc. Maybe a BW, 17 in. screen.

Quisp cereal? - Never heard of it
HR Pufnstuf - I've heard of it as an adult, but I've never seen it before
I loved Speed Buggy
I don't think I've ever seen "Land of the Lost"
I definitely watched Hong Kong Phooey
I don't think I've ever heard of the "Monkey's Uncle" game.
I remember seeing Isis and Shazam.
The bionic man action figure was awesome.
Pink Panther, hell yeah.

I also had a bunch of Tonka trucks, matchbox and hot wheels and several of the Evel Knievel toys.
