How do you not take Edelman out of the game...? The 3rd. down conversions on the Final drive sealed KC's fate. LA has a real Defense but weaker offensively than KC. If this kid head coach can pull this off, his life will be set *for eternity.* Here's hopin :-)

I was under the impression that the two are completely separate issues and have nothing to do with each other. Oh wait, it's really all about hate Brady. Got it. |

That's the thing with the NFL is the greed amongst the skill players. the NFL was never meant to play guys a few seasons and retire off of it (especially when these players are out breaking the law and buying stupid expensive cars).

Rams head coach Dick Vermeil was a little more accurate in his assessment in that same piece: “I believe in my profession and I believe there are people who can make a difference in a leadership role as a head coach,” Vermeil said. “And I think that is a small price to pay for the right guy. “I don’t know Bill Belichick that well, but the Patriots obviously think that much of him. If they’re right, it is a tremendous investment. To me, there have been a ton of first-round flops. If you get the right NFL coach, he will change your organization.” |

Dick Vermeil is spot on. Look no further than the Rams for proof of what he was talking about.

Do you remember who the head coach of the patriots was that Belichick replaced? He got a job on the college level and built one heck of a dynasty for a decade. If I'm not mistaken he won a superbowl coaching the sea-chickens and lost a superbowl in 2014 .... to Belichick. ![]() Quote:

Has to be the best ever, and he has made the sacrifices to be the best. Although I wouldn't say he has sacrificed everything.
![]() Both were great football games. Sad that the officials played a decisive role in each. |
